Compost! (Ledbetter) The composter has arrived! Starting Monday put your organic and food waste into the green buckets next to the columns in the commons. Support the Green Reform and save the earth!


Magic (Kurz) Attention all Magic players! Next Wednesday, after school, is a great opportunity to play in a tournament. No need to have any cards or build a deck. The Magic club is having a sealed tournament. All you need to do to play is sign up in room 211 before Tuesday, March 23 at 2:30. ItŐs a great way for beginners to play against experienced players and have a fair shot at winning! There will be prizes!


Youth Health Service Cops Internship (Career Center) If you are in the 9th, 10th or 11th grade and interested in a career in the health field listen up. The Youth Health Service Corps is offering a 50 hour internship in different Medical or Health Careers. They set up and arrange your internship for you and train you to serve in health care settings. This is a great opportunity, and juniors you may be able to tie this into your senior project. Come down to the career center for more information and an application. We have to have a certain number of students sign up to take advantage of this program.

Congrats Tides Girls Water Polo! The Tides Girls Water Polo team defeated Mount Tahoma by the score of 20-3. The win over the Thunderbirds pushes the Tides season record to 2-0. This afternoon, the Tides host cross town rival Peninsula Seahawks. The Varsity game starts at 3:30pm.


Way to go Ladies Tides Tennis! The Ladies Tides Tennis team got off to a good season opener defeating at North Kitsap. varsity won 3 to 2, VJ 5 to 0! Way to go Tides!

College Fair @ Olympic College (Career Center) Juniors: If you are planning on attending the college fair at Olympic College you need to turn in your permission forms to the career center by this Thursday. If you haven't picked up an application yet you still can if you do it ASAP.


Summer Jobs at Canterwood (Career Center) Canterwood is hiring people this summer to help run their sports camps, swim lessons and Life Guarding. If you would like more info and/or an application come on down to the career center.

If you do not go it is highly likely you will have difficulty getting into the program of your choice.

Congratulations Speech and Debate (Coovert) Please congratulate the speech and debate team for taking fifth place at the state speech tournament Saturday! Olivia Godt and Lizzie Unterbrink took 2nd place in duo interpretation to lead the team. Additional finalists included Kenna Uddenberg, Melanie Coyne, Amy Handlan and Nickolena Milne-Cooper.
